Gil Formats’ factual entertainment format, ‘Capturing the Moment’, is set to air across Greece in 2016 after a commission from the top Entertainment Channel in Greece, Alpha TV.

Alpha TV has licensed 12 episodes of the format that sees elderly individuals reveal their experiences and wisdom around universally complex issues such as love, family, careers and sex. Each episode features inspiring personal stories captured in a precious photo and recreated by a top photographer sometimes 50 years after the original was taken.

German broadcaster ZDF has previously commissioned a local version of ‘Capturing the Moment’ for ZDFneo.

The format is also currently in production in Israel for the IBA (six episodes) and will premiere in the first half of 2016.
