GIL FORMATS’ WHILE YOU WERE GETTING MARRIED TRAVELS TO THE US WITH HOWIE MANDEL’S ALEVY PRODUCTIONS

Gil Formats’ ‘While You Were Getting Married’ has been picked up in the US by Howie Mandel’s Alevy Productions.  This represents the first collaboration between Gil Formats and Alevy Productions, which has an overall deal with Critical Content to develop and produce original series for TV and digital.

While You Were Getting Married is a fun, unpredictable gameshow that takes place at an actual wedding! Guests compete to win prizes for the unsuspecting bride and groom.  Think of the biggest surprise party in the world, but it takes place on the most important day of your life.

A comedic host surprises the wedding party and challenges the guests, individually and in teams, to compete in a range of hilarious and over-the-top games, to win incredible wedding gifts for the unsuspecting couple.  As the prizes get bigger, the challenges get funnier.

The format will be distributed by Gil Formats at NATPE Budapest 2017.
