Pregnant & Platonic is a ground-breaking new format based on the growing phenomenon of Co-Parenting – women and men who are looking to have a child without first falling in love.

The search to find the right co-parenting partner can be as difficult as trying to find true love.  The difference? You can get out of a failing marriage, but becoming a parent is a lifetime commitment.

This program is the only one dealing with this radical new way to start a family and the  stakes couldn’t be higher – two strangers making a lifelong commitment to raise a child together.

‘Pregnant & Platonic’ will bring the stories of different individuals seeking for their perfect co-parent. Once (and if) they choose a platonic partner to have a child with, we will follow each couple over the course of a year and witness their attempt of becoming a family, as they face numerous challenges and difficult decisions before they can turn their dreams of becoming parents into a reality.

Will the couples make their dream come true and have a baby?  Each story will hopefully climax with a baby being born…
