Adva Avichzer-Meiri Tapped as Head of Distribution of Gil Formats

Adva Avichzer-Meiri, Senior Sales Executive at Gil Formats, has been upped as new Head of Distribution of the company. The division focuses on the distribution of unscripted content for traditional platforms. Adva will report directly to Gil Formats CEO, Assaf Gil.

Avichzer-Meiri served as Ilanit Hirsch’s, Gil Formats VP Marketing & Sales, second-in-command for the pass year. Prior to that she held both executive and creative titles on shows in Israel such as The Voice, One Born Every Minute, 4 Weddings, Living in La La Land, to name a few.

The change comes after Ilanit Hirsch has been tapped as Head of Programs & Acquisition at Keshet Broadcasting.

The role has Hirsch tasked with overseeing production of all original programming and formats acquisition for the company.
