‘Life on Duty’ has been recommissioned for a second season in Spain by Mediaset’s Cuatro, after its successful launch on the channel in September 2017. New deals for the primetime factual entertainment format have also been secured with production companies in two major territories: KM Production, a Banijay Group company, in France, and Bristow Global Media in Canada.

Created by Gil Formats, who also distributes the format, ‘Life on Duty’ follows characters from several emergency services and contrasts the brutal and at times heroic days and nights spent on the job with their often neglected private lives thus emphasizing the sacrifices these emergency service workers pay for saving other people’s lives.
